A Pleasant Home Buying Experience

I recently purchased my first home and was able to secure my mortgage through the help of Cornerstone Mortgage Group. As a first-time home buyer, I was so nervous about the process but Brian is an excellent broker to work with, which made the experience essentially painless. He was able to get me a great interest rate (especially given the current market) and was very prompt in sharing relevant information as well as explaining the steps I needed to take to move the process along. I didn't have to stress about the process at all, and I appreciated his diligence and timely correspondence. He's also very personable and easy to talk to, which goes a long way when you're making one of the biggest purchases in your life. I definitely recommend Cornerstone Mortgage group to anyone looking to purchase a home and I personally plan to use them again for future refinancing opportunities.

Brian Kordell Saved the Day!!!

I had a terrible experience with a contractor that ruined my home during a renovation project. The contractor demolished my kitchen, swindled my money and left me without a kitchen for over a year in the Spring of 2021. In the Fall of 202, I was advised to do a Rehabilitation/Renovation Loan to get my home back in order. I contacted the original lender of my 1st home equity loan, but that company could not help me with rectifying the problem. I contacted another mortgage company, but they were unable to get me through the process of securing the funds I needed to be made whole again. In January of 2022, a referral was made to Brian Kordell and Cornerstone Mortgage. I followed through with the referral, and I was not disappointed! Brian and his team, meticulously went through every step with me. The team literally held my hand through the process, and I was able to close on a loan in April of 2022. Not only did the loan allow for the restoral of the renovation project, but also allowed for the renovation of my entire house! I can not thank Brian and his team enough for giving me the opportunity to restore my family home that has been apart of my life since the 1960's when my parents purchased it to raise their family. Brian not only saved my home, he saved my childhood memories. Thank you
